FAN SERVICE

Fan Service was created out of my personal love for Anime and Japanese culture. Fan Service is commonly taken as a negative within the Anime and Manga community, as it depicts women in compromising positions, up-skirt shots, large breasts and unattainable body expectations. While this is certainly true; Fan Service is the beating heart of the Anime community. Fan Service is simply about appeasing fans, acts of violence, character relationships or life choices made by characters are also acts of Fan Service. If fans feel heard or represented they are more inclined to keep up with the series, thus keeping it alive. If fans are displeased at any point the series could end. Meaning Fan Service and the appeasement of Fans is integral to a series success or failure.

Fan Service as a publication is printed only on pink paper stock and is packaged with a pack of collectable Manga photocards, 5 unique posters and a traditional Obi Strip to decorate the spine.
